This was correctly identified as a virus, but after following the instructions on the Symantec page, I discovered that I had three of them and they worked in cooperation to negate the Symantec solution and in fact made things so bad that I had to scratch both machines. &nbsp;Good ID on the virus though,<br />

I am running NortonSystemWorks on two a notebook running XP. &nbsp;The machine consistently gets the above error message when running LiveUpdate. I am unable to update my virus definitions. &nbsp;I have uninstalled and reinstalled the package, which did not help and in fact made matters worse as now the only virus definitions I have going are the ones out of the box. &nbsp;The software worked fine for a couple of months after I bought it, so I suspect this is related to an one of several upgrades I did to XP and to IE. &nbsp;Can anyone get me around this?<br />
