This HP Pavilion XT938 (a7v-vm mainboard) will not boot beyond the initial blue HP screen. It will not boot from floppy, and it will not enter BIOS setup. This happened after an attempt to repair Internet Explorer. I ran &quot;sfc /scannow&quot;. Another user rebooted the machine before I saw the results, and that's when we started getting the freeze at the blue screen. My first thought was to clear the CMOS, but I can't find any documentation about doing that on the a7v-vm mainboard, and HP has not helped. Any ideas would be appreciated.
