Cisco 3000 VPN Concentrator OSPF routing

I have OSPF running on 2 routers (2600s) on my network. I have a Cisco VPN concentrator 3002 series that is the connection point for 4 LAN-to_LAN Tunnels and VPN clients. I want to set up my concentrator to learn the ospf routes. The config pages on the concentrator are very basic.

The concentrator options are as follows:
Config->system->IP_Routing->OSPF  Enabled-check, Router ID: 129.73.75.100 (Inside interface) Autonomous System-not checked

Config->system->IPRouting->OSPFAreas  OSPFArea 0.0.0.0 (backbone)   MODIFY->AreaID 0.0.0.0 AreaSum-checked External LSA Import - external

What am I missing? Should I see the concentrator on the router OSPF neighbors?

Thanks.

mousers,

I am assuming that you are running everything on a single area (0.0.0.0 or backbone area) and, therefore, that you are not running into designation of wrong area numbers to the routers and your VPN concentrator.
If this is not true, please give me details on your topology.

After you confiigure your concentrator system OSPF parameters, you will need to configure your interfaces for OSPF, or Configuration->Interfaces->Ethernet1, then select OSPF tab:
- check OSPF enabled on suitable interfaces;
- enter OSPF Area ID for the interface;
- match all other parameters with those used in your OSPF network.

Thanks. It is working great. Now I need to see if my PIX 506 at a remote site can get the routes across the LAN-to-LAN IPSec tunnel.

BTW- I thought the Cisco online VPN documentation was not very indepth. Any suggestions on reference material? Thanks.

I see what you say, because Cisco 3000 VPN concentrator documentation do not bring OSPF configuration just in one place, but I do not think you will find better references outside Cisco.

I suggest you to complement your reading of Cisco Documentation site with other documents using "Search". For example, doing search "3000 vpn concentrator" just in Tech Support & Docs, or "3000 vpn concentrator ospf", to solve your OSPF problems for example.
