Urgent!  --Problem with html format newsletter using javascript

I am creating an html format newsletter. I use javascript to rotate some banners. But when I see the newsletter with outlook 2003, the banners don't rotate.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

That is due to the security restriction that Outlook imposes. I'd suggest, don't rely on anything which is a SCRIPT if you intent your reader to see what you intend. Most clients these day disable scripts in their mail. Some clients do allow but not fully. Some allow only in read mode and not in preview.. .. and so on.

So your best bet would be to use some alternate method such as animated GIFs or Shockwave FLASH. www.macromedia.com

If you are sure they will use Outlook 2003, you can advise them to enable JavaScript. Only if you have control over your readers.

Award him the points I would say that is a great solution. You can also use programs such as swishmax. Or you can make those animated gifs using photoshop. Good luck
