I often receive forwarded mails with attachments (those funny pictures or video that short of things).
I have this problem from Yahoo mail senders.  Usually the forwarded mails are nothing but attachment.  but all senders from Yahoo mail, instead of attaching the pictures, it attach the mail header instead.

resulting multi-level of emails I have to open just to view one attachment. with the "email-in-email" effect, my desktop flooded with multiple emails.  Also a simple email with a single picture attachment may only have 100k, but with the multiple forward effect, resulting the file size increase to maybe 500k.

what causes this?  it it Outlook Express? or Yahoo?

does Yahoo or Microsoft know this issue?  are they fixing it?  at this moment, any solution to this problem?

I have seen this multiple times.  It has something to do with the way that Yahoo, MSN, or Hotmail are set up.  I don't believe there is anything you can do on your end to prevent it other than only downloading the headers of emails larger than a certain size.
