Hi what are the steps to send a simple text file from one Hyperterminal on a W98 machine to another Hyperterminal on a W95 machine.  I want to use a COM (serial) port.

Thanks,

The COM cable should be NULL-Modem type if you connect directly the 2 PC . Anyway, in Communication menu you have a direct cable connection option.

The solution suggested above by Yan_west should be possible. You need either a modem link via phone lines, or a NullModem cable between PC's.
