I have a failed host HBA that connects to an EMC CX600.  I know I have to un register the HBA but when I do a search on the EMC knowledge base I only find how to register and "call tech support".  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

You have to be in engineering mode to do this. For navisphere console i think it is cntl-shift-F12 or cntl-shift-F10...not sure which. This will put you in engineering mode. From the drop down menus you should get an extra section for engineering to tell you it was correct. Go to the screen for HBA registrations, and you should now have the option to remove. Remember if you have multiple paths to remove all instances for the HBA.
