HP director not available for PSC2110

I cannot get the director to open. When I try to re-install I have to uninstall the program. After re-installing the director is still not available.

Sometimes an error message appears in IE to say "scripts are not downloading - continue?" It refers to the director exe program to correct the problem - which I cannot do!

Unless you can suggest how to reactivate the director, I guess I would like to know how to clean up the installation fully before re-installing.

I tried your suggestion. it appears to download and at the close it brings up the Page unavailable - what am I doing wrong?

either ur ISP has problems with the HP server,,,, or u are using a router that is not set to allow downloads from ftp sites !!!!

Are both Cleanup utility and Drivers facing the same problem... ??
Can u try to download these drivers from anotehr system and copy it to ur system ??

Im having a similar problem. Appears to be a javascript problem with ie6 and the hp software. tried it on a comp with fresh 98se (so it has ie5) and there is no trouble. Tried IEradicating ie6 from trouble comp and installing ie5 but still trouble. Maybe M$ java engine is whack; gonna try pulling it and using SUN ( dude that invented java worked there anyway) see if that helps.
Im running out of options..have uninstalled and reinstalled this crap more times.....
