Server Documentation

I recently took over a mid sized network, we have about 6 Win 2000 servers and 2 Win 2003 Servers.

I want to print out documentation with all the machine settings, EX. DNS, DHCP, Drive sizes etc.

I cannot justify something like Ecora, Does anyone know of a more inexpensive tool to do this.

It does not have to be pretty.

A great FREE Tool for this is BGINFO off of www.sysinternals.com - google for BGINFO

This tool displays info on the desktop; the info you choose to specify; BUT it also dumps this info if specified to a excel file, text file, or Access DB. The file needs to be created first empthy is ok. Then start bginfo and the select FILE>Database and point it to the file you want and wallah!

I like the background idea, But would also like to create a file that will document the whole server
to a text file.
