Mozilla won't open a .pps file
I have a Mozilla browser that tries to display the code of a .pps (MS-PowerPoint Slide Show) file, rather than run the application. It runs a .ppt file fine.
I go to another computer, and Mozilla on that computer runs the .pps file OK. So, I'm assuming this is a configuration issue. I went to the Mozilla 'Edit | Preferences | HelperApplications' screen and add 'pps' to the list of extensions for 'application/vnd.ms-powerp oint' filetypes to read: 'ppt pps'.
I checked filetypes under Windows, as well. This was mute, since the .pps files run fine under IE 6.0.
Any suggestions? This seems to be a Mozilla configuration issue, but I don't know where else to look that I haven't checked already.

Well, you see, the problem is that Gore didn't invent Mozilla, for if he had, it would surely be perfect . . . wouldn't it?
Anyway, glad to hear balance has been restored.

I upgraded to Mozilla 1.7.2 and life is good - nature is again in balance. Whooda thunk a product like Mozilla, that's been around since VP Gore "invented the Internet", would have a bug in it? ;-)
