What is Stride6 in ram tests?

Windows Memory Diag test is reporting that stride6 is failing and we need to find out what stride6 is. If anyone could help explain why only this error is showing up and what it is that would help.

The Stride 6 Test is the same then Memtest86 Test #6.. here is the explanation:

Test 6 [Modulo 20, ones&zeros, cached]

Using the Modulo-X algorithm should uncover errors that are not detected by moving inversions due to cache and buffering interference with the the algorithm. As with test one only ones and zeros are used for data patterns.

Since the subject is started on testers like this, does anyone know where a good listing of the differant tests and who\what they test? I have run memtest86+ and wmd many times and would like to know when an test fails what I am looking at.
