I am converting from my trial version of Microsoft Small Business 2003 to the full product. So I purchased the cd rom directly from Microsoft. Every time I try to install the full version I get an error that a file is missing - fatal error. File Name is SKUCA1.CAB. Do you think if I uninstall the trial version and then try installation again that it would be ok ?

Dkota,

I would definitely unistall the trial version first just to get rid of any garbage that is there.  Then restart your machine, then install the version that you purchased from Microsoft.  Are you sure that the file is SKUCA1.CAB, just wondering, it is not that I doubt you.  Anyway, try that.  By the way are you installing Office, Server, ect.  What is the product?  Let me know how things go.

Good Luck,

Corey

thank you very much. I did exactly what you said and my microsoft office programs are working great.  This is the first time I was able to use these programs since I bought the Sony Notebook back in March. Thank you a lot.  the product I have installed is Microsoft Office Small Business Edition 2003.

Thanks
