Is it possible to install Solaris 8 on a pentium IV dell laptop? Can I dual boot it with win 2000?

The sun documentation website,

talks about how to install Solaris 8 on an Intel 32-bit processor architecture, which includes the Pentium, Pentium Pro, Pentium II, Pentium II Xeon, Celeron, Pentium III, and Pentium III Xeon processors and compatible microprocessor chips made by AMD and Cyrix.

Yes, you CAN install Solaris 8 x86 on a Pentium IV.
