Linksys 54G wireless router droping internet connection.

I have a speedstream DSL modem from SBC that is connected to my Linksys 54G Wireless Router.  I have 2 PC with 54g wireless cards and a laptop with a wireless notebook card that are connecting to router for inernet.  After I have configured the router I get all my computers on the network and connected to internet.  It works for about a day and then I lose intenet connection on all computers.  I still have connection to router but cannot see other PC's on network or get on internet.  I have tried upgrading firmware and that didnt help I also am broadcasting my SSID. When I lose internet connection I take my Linksys router disk and walk through the steps to reconfigure router - I am then able to get on to internet for 24 hours or so then I get the same issues.  I am able to get on to internet by pluging laptop directly into DSl Modem so i know there is no issue with modem - i cannot however plug into internet on one of the ports on back of router.  Any info would be helpful at this point !!!!!

Thanks

next time it happens.
first take one of the computers .. winxp or 2000... and do this
start | run | cmd  (enter)
ipconfig /all

it should show your ip info that your pc retrieved from the routers DHCP server.
if you dont have anything ... that narrows down your problem.

second ping your routers IP address.  should = default gateway of your PC  (start | run |cmd |(enter) | ping 192.168.x.x)
post results.

third ping a second Pc from this PC.

There are more things we can try but lets keep it simple at first.
