Hi Experts...

I have successfully installed winex3 and able to run windows games on it with great ease..

But the issue is i have developed an application in VC++ which works on the hooking(of keyboard) concept. i m able to register .ocx but not the .dll files which form the core part of my application and therefore my application is not running successfully in wine..

Can anyone please give me the appropriate solution in this regard..

Stick the dll concerned in the directories specified by WINEDLLPATH. This value can consist of numerous directories seperated by ':' in exactly the same way as PATH

However - check this nutter out!:

http://www.kegel.com/linux/winelog.html is an eye-opener on this type of thing - This guy has taken things farther than I'd try to.

There is an interesting example on how to deal with native dlls under 'Installer woes part 2', using the --dll switch.

HTH:)
