How do I send many emails in a batch Java program or programs? Is there an example?

Thank you in advance.  How does one send email in a batch Java program? The batch job that will be sending emails to a large number of users(10-2000).  I plan on writing the program,creating a ". bat" file and having run on a daily basis from a schedular.

Check out javamail (i.e. google javamail site:java.sun.com)
