Hello pvm33 =)

I think XP has already its built-in drivers for this printer, but if u still want, u can check this one >> http://www.windowsxp-drivers.com/drivers/78/78810.htm

And now im sure that XP includes the drivers for this printer, u can verify it by looking at this list of printer drivers included with XP >> http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=293378

and this is the verification from HP >> http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lang=en&lc=en&cc=us&docname=bpd09005&lang=en&cc=us

Are u having any problem with this printer running with XP ??

I did download the driver pointed to,  but when clicked on, nothing happened.

The problem is Dell, Most XP copies have the driver loaded, but for some reason, Dell's version of XP does not have the driver. They offered no assistance.

ok lets see what can we do,,,,

install this printer on an XP system which can load its drivers, and make sure printer is Working fine !!!!
after that goto >> C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\
and here u shud see a folder called drivers,,,,, copy this folder and paste it on the Dell system on somewhere else, like in My Documents\Drivers

now plugin the printer to Dell system and when it ask for the drivers, point to the location where u have stored this drivers folder, XP shud get the drivers from this folder and shud install the printer.... !!!!

see if u can get the ptinter working by this way :-?
