Hi

I am just about to replace my current PDC server with a new server.

Both are running Windows 2000 Server.

They both have exchange on them.

My only worry is that when you add the new server onto the network to transfer exchange across they need to be the same name.  But if i add the new server then delete the old server and rename the new server wont that delete the profiles?

Any advice on this change over would be most appreciative.

regards

Tim

This article speaks about migrating exchange 2000 to a Exchange 2003 box, but indicates that you shouldn't rename the server.
Anyhow, what profiles do you speak of?
