techsmith tscc codec problem

i have some video files that are encoded using the techsmith tscc codec.  I have downloaded and installed the codec.
the files play but they video is squashed in the top half of the screen.

i have tried various players and the all display in the same fashion.

how do i get them to show the video properly?

howdy,

check with techsmith about compatibality problems with your video card, if none make sure that you have the latest drivers

Answer found.
 you need to turn off video acceleration in your player. I.E, if using media player go to tools> options> performance, and move the dial to NONE where it say video acceleration.
