I get an "Operation Failed" when trying to use a distribution list in outlook 2003.  I deleted the list and chose the names from the global address list but it still doesn't work.  Connections and all other email working.

Thanks in advance!

Hi zenportafino,

If you add the contacts manually in distribution list, does it work fine ?

Instead of adding from global address list ,if you add from contact folder ( contacts personal to you) does that work

Does it happen only to you or other accounts aswell

Try doing "detect and repair" going to help menu in outlook to see if that would help

If not , Repair PST : http://www.slipstick.com/problems/scanpst.htm and check. If that also doesnot help .

Take a backup of all emails and go to control panel ---> mail --> delete the profile and recreate one again

Post back how it goes
