VPN server's modem doesn't answer

I've got a windows 2000 server configured with RRAS. It also has a external multitech modem as one of the RRAS interfaces. It worked fine for a little while now it doesn't answer calls. I've called it and heard the modem ring but it never picks up. I've also tried switching out the modems and still got the same results.  What else can I try to get it to work?

howdy,

are you sure that your incoming connection hasn't become corrupt. try removing the present one and building a new one, then reboot and let the services reactivate.

hope that this helps
