Hi all experts

I am trying to delete messages from a specific sender in all mailboxes in my Exchange 2003 organization.
I run Exchange server 2003 in an windows 2003 based AD.
Clients are running 2k and XP - Office 2000 and Office 2003.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks for any help!

/Daniel

u have a few options
if u know the subject line or attacment(if the email has attachment)then u can use exmerge to do the job for u.
or u can connect to each individual mailbox and delete the email
or use this product powercontrolls from www.ontrack.com

Hiagain.

I "need to" delete all messages sent to recipients inside my organisation based on a specific sender.
I guess this is not possible...?

Thanks

it does not matter if u are seraching for an specific message sent to one user or a message sent to all or many users u still need a third party help inorder to achieve
ur goal.to search the whole exchange database for message(s)"from  specific
person or domain"u need powercontrolls.
sorry kido either that tool(which can be expensive)or connecting individually to each
mailbox and serach for that email.
powercontrolls is not just for search it is the best tool for recoverying emails and exchange database .

Ok. Just to be sure:

If i were to get that tool I can find and delete ALL messages sent from a certain emailadress (could be a couple of thousand) ... (without knowing subject line and/or attachment) inside all my inboxes?

Thanks!

u dont have to buy it outright.u can download the trial version and check it out(it will
do everything except allow u to extract any information.u download the software and
do a search and when u are satisfied it is doing its job then u buy it).
it will do what u want to do.it is an advance version of exmerge that works on the file level of exchange database.
