I configure a &nbsp;smart host in the SMTP connector of Excahnge 2003 server, the ip of Smart Host is point to another stand alone IIS server that has SMTP Virtual Server enabled. <br />

I create a Local domain and Remote Domain in the STMP virtual Server of stand alone IIS server, In this Smtp Virtual Server, I assign the ip of exchange 2003 server as smart host to forward the inbound mail to excahnge 2003 server.<br />

Now, IIS/Smtp Stand server forward the inbound mail to exchange server thru the static smart host (IP of IIS stand alone server); exchange server send mail thru static smart host to IIS/smtp stand alone server, Here is my questuin, How does the IIS/SMTP forward the outbound mail to internet?<br />
