Hello there,

I am new to CGI scripting. (dont know a thing about it).

I have a client that is currently running the ubb.classic 6.7.1 forum on their website.

They want to now start building an application that will enable them to generate some revenue from the site, but before starting they want to be sure that they can integrate the forum's member information in with the new app and run both side by side.

does anyone have any insight on this?

I think that this is possible. Most member data is stored in files that can be read by any text editor. As long as you can read the data from the files you should be fine.

Good stuff. I was pretty sure that this was possible but I am glad to hear that Infopop confirmed and you got squared away. Good luck on your project!
