I've got a 400MHz G3 running OS 10.2.6 with 320megs of RAM and use Office X for most of my work.  Just today I received a 60k pdf from a coworker that when clicked on, or drug to the trash unexpectedly quits.  I've tried highlighting a NON-crashing email and the misbehaving email and attempted to hit delete and dragging to the trash and continue to get the "Entourage has unexpectedly quit" error.  I have also held down the control key and launched entourage to rebuild the database file.  I've done the simple and advanced rebuild.

Chock up another major problem with an MS mail client. Switch yourself over to OS X Mail.app. It's SO much better.

In the mean time, click on a mail that is working, then shift-click on the problem email. Then trash them both.

Shift Delete when clicking just the bad email didn't work... but when I highlight the bad one and a NON crashing one and shift deleted  it works just as you said. Awesome work as always weed.  Thank you.

Not shift-delete. Click on a good one, then shift-click on the bad one. Which is what you did. Ya just read it wrong the first time..;)
