Working on the boss's wife's computer while they're visiting Germany.  She's got lots of problems.  Before posting, I ran spybot 1.3, trendmicro housecall, avg virus, a-squared, and norton's.  Still multiple programs showing up at start-up.  Before running the hijack this log, I ran msconfig and unchecked all programs I wasn't 100% certain of.  HELP?!?  I think some of the things might be obvious but I'm a little afraid to get rid of them only to find they were actually used by something necessary.  She uses sbc global dsl at home and I have access to dsl here at the office but have it offline until I can come up with some fixes.  I have my computer up and running next to it.  They're coming home mid-week week and I'd like to have it ready to return to her.  I procrastinated!  Any help will be appreciated!

If the WINTOOLS entries keep coming back, then go to C:/program files/common files and DELETE THE Wintools directory. If you get the access denied error, go to taskmanager and end process WSUP.exe  ... try deleting that folder again... it should work.

Also , go to Local Settings folder (hidden) of the username
e.g. if my username was expert3 then my Temp dir is  C:\Documents and Settings\Expert3\Local Settings\Temp

Good Luck...

Thanks so much SheharyaarSaahil!  Your swift response allowed me to come back to the office last night while things were quiet to work on the machine.  It's clean now and running like a top.  I'm going to re-run all the utilities today to make sure we've taken care of everything.  Thanks again!
