returning CPU ID (serial no.) and HDD serial number from vb6

people, i want to be able to call the CPU ID number from inside my vb6 program. anyone got some code to do this? would be a great help, thankyou. Or the HDD serial number. thanks.

firstly, thanks for you help. cristy your link proved to me most successful.

however the links only show how to retreive the HD volume serial, do you guys know of code to retreive the CPU ID ??

The above example shows you how to get BIOS information too.
