Show IE toolbar

Dear Experts

I built a IE toolbar I want, when I install my toolbar then it will be selected.Just like google toolbar when we install that that will be in IE default. Can I show , hide toolbar from changing in registry ?

You'll need to greate a GUID and add it as a key into.  You your program's name as the default string value

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\
