PhotoshopImagereadyCS w/DreamweavMX...I need to place a dhtml menu into page. Submenu's not showing. Help

So basically what I am trying to do is Create the page using photoshop Then open the PSD in image ready Slice it and then save optimized for web(otherCSS) Then open HTML in Dreamweaver and insert a dhtml menu I created using Xara Webstyle.  To do this I first created the menu Sized it and then took note of the size When creating my site in Photoshop I created a Rectangle and then Slice the Size that my menu will be.  This Works fine except one of the menus is Right next to an image so the submenus aren't visible.  (I have a menu inside a sphere(I think it looks cool))

If I start deleteing my sphere etc. I can then see the submenus underneath.  I know I can do this?  Can't figure out how.

Hi,

You could post a link to your menus. That would help. Very few here have the programs & patience to try out all the behaviour. On the other hand - most folks here (almost me ;-) are experts in HTML, JavaScript and all that stuff that is the result of your Photoshop&ImageReady&Xara&Dreamweaver programs. If they see the code, they usually can say something like "remove that semicolon on line 66 and you are done..." (yeah, smart folks around here).

Based on your description, I would say you have some simple incompatibility in the code that ImageReady crated and that DW uses. Probably not difficult to fix. But it might also be that you are trying to accomplish something that is trivial using slightly different behaviour/tools.

I personally would create the images & graphics in Photoshop perhaps, but then I would use Fireworks for slicing & menus, since I know DW<>FW works great.

anyhow - my 10cents worth...
