Hi All,

We have a database on a Lotus server ( vers R5) which will be used by several users.
There are some of them who can open the database but ( as a second step ) can't open a new request without getting the error message: Error loading USE or USELSX module: lsxlc
Me and many other users have no problem at all to work with that database.

What can I do to get rid of this error message?

You have LEI or R6 installed on your machine ?? And others don't !

Copy nslxlc.dll and see if it fixes the problem or upgrade them to R6 or install LEI appropriately.

I copied the file nlsxlc.dll to the users PC and now he gets the error message:
This application has failed to start because NLCAPI.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem.
I guess if I copy this dll I will get the next message to copy another .dll as well.
We have 6 Notes server 4 of them have R6 and 2 have  R5 but the database sends the error message is located at a Notes server with R5. The user also has R5.
What is LEI exactly?

LEI is add on , till R5. But from R6 some of the functions are built in.
There are two solns...
1. You have to upgrade the users to R6 if you are going to use lsxlc class in your applications.
2. or Install LEI (this will cost you some money) which implicitly contain lsxlc classes

I copied all the dll files from my pc ( I have no error message) to the users pc. (to the same folder)
Now he gets the following error:
Error loading USE or USELSX module: Common
Can I fix the problem when I reinstall Lotus Notes?

Copying dlls doesn't necessarily adjust your registry or work with older version of notes ...and your notes doesn't have visibility to certain dlls. and hence will continue to give problem..

I did mention possible workarounds.. if you are ignoring it then I am sorry I can't help you more than that.

All the servers and users will be upgraded to R6 in one month and that's the reason why neither of your suggestions are acceptable for me. ( for this short period of time we don't want to spend money)
I only wanted to find a temporary solution for four weeks but this isn't possible as I learn now from you.
