Hi,

When I open my outlook I get the following error:

"The procedure entry point _GetIUMS@4 could not be located in the dynamic link library MSDART.DLL"

I used to correct this error by installing the MDAC 2.8. I realized this solved the problem after a little research. But now, I can't install it because if Windows XP SP2. It gives me a msg saying that it is imcompatible with this version, that all of it's features are currently part of Windows.

I believe that, what created the error was my Nokia celular phone software, since it syncs with Outlook and it was some time after installing it that I realized the error was there. Unfortunatly there isn't a more recent version of the software.

Any tips?

Nope, none of the above worked.
What I did that allowed me to resolve this problem, but still gave more work than I wanted, was to uninstall SP2, run the MDAC 2.8 to solve the problem, and than reinstall SP2.
Now it works perfectly.
