Transaction cannot start while in firehose mode

Hi all,

I'm using sql server EM on windows 2k;

I'd like to change a value in a table, so usually I just
right click the 'open table', 'return all rows', then I modify the
data;
but this time when I change one of the values and tried to save
the changes, it says:
"Transaction cannot start while in firehose mode"

anybody knows why and how to solve the problem?
