Watchguard Firebox and MySQL

I'm having problem connecting to a MySQL database on my ISP's server and I think it may be related to my Firebox configuration

I've tried several different clients and they all have problems

Does anyone have any ideas on how to investigate this problem?

Make sure you have a rule to allow outbound port 3306 from your "trusted" to "any" (or just to your ISP if you know their netblocks)

Try connecting from a different network to see if it works from anywhere.  Many hosts do not allow connections to their MySQL databases from the outside world, only from their own servers.  I know that is how mine is, I can only connect to MySQL from pages I upload. If you are unable to connect from somewhere else that isn't behind the firewall, then you should probably double check with your ISP to make sure they allow MySQL access to the outside world.
