I am in the process of changing 300+ users outlook profiles. It will not be a mailbox move, but rather a fresh start.
I will have all my users export their mailbox(old) to a pst file for backup. Then I will do the same at the server level just in case.

I then will turn on mailbox in a new server, different site, different org.  Netoworks are been migrated as well.  I then, need to poing all my clients to the new server.,
Is there a tool or something that will help me accomodate this issue? I got a lot of remote users as well.

Thannks,
Juan

Hi jibarra,

The "profgen" tool sounds like the thing for you :-)

You can set up a batch file that does all the hard work, and then call it from your login scripts (or group policy).

Gimme a few mins and I'll dig out some references....

PAQ http:Q_11065466.html "Terminal Server Outlook Settings (automation)" gives some information on how to use ProfGen.

It's part of the MS BackOffice Resource kit
You can also find information about it at http://www.somorita.com/Exchange2000/PROFGEN.DOC

Hope that this helps.
