who knows where this setting is normally defined in notes

i want all mail destined for adresses not listed in the domino directory (as in: unresolved recipients) to be sent to another smtp mailserver using it's local dns name or ip address. Where do I tell Notes to do that ?

On the server, in the domino directory, in the Configuration document (take the Default), Router/SMTP tab, Local Internet domain smart host:

the forwarding now works, but for ALL mail, not just for the unrecognized mail, is there a second switch that has to be turned ?

To make this work correclty, you need to have a Global domain document defined for your internet domain.
