Hi,

I get the following message in Exchange

Event Type:      Error
Event Source:      TermService
Event Category:      None
Event ID:      1008
User:            N/A

Description:
The terminal server licensing grace period has expired and the service has not registered with a license server with installed licenses.  A terminal server license server is required for continuous operation.  A terminal server can operate without a license server for 120 days after initial start up.

I'm using Remote desktop now for admin work as the server won't be needed as a TS.

How do I go about preventing this messages from appearing in the logs ?

Thanks
Steven

Hi Drefsabuk,

Uninstall terminal services, go to add/remove programs and then add remover windows components and remove terminal services..

If you are using remote desktopping this will not affect this

Hope This helps
