Hi Experts,

I am using NTBackup on Windows 2003 and all's well IF i keep using blank media, if I try and use media that already has a backup on it. If pops up a message to say is it ok to erase this tape as i am not there at 11.00pm to say of course its ok the backup fails.

There must be a simple way to tell NTBackup look overwrite what ever tape you have in the tape drive without asking any questions.

I have enabled in the media pool the tick where is says move take the tape from free media and also return to free media when completed.

Please help with this, as I am going grey.

Cheers

try editing the job and inserting a " /UM" which worked in previous versions of NTBackup.
