contacts migration

Hi,

I want to copy (or add if possible) my contacts folder of Outlook on my PC to my Outlook on my laptop. It's that easy. But I couldn't:(
I tried to copy contacts.pst file. I renamed it to outlook.pst at the laptop. It changed all the settings. I had an Inbox with no messages etc.
Any help?

Deniz,

If you want only contacts, just export the contacts to a specified file format and then import that in the new machine
Or
get the entire outlook.pst from one machine to another and that way you can get contact folder

Look for *.pst file searching in hidden folders
Mostly it would be found in
C:\Documents and Settings\{your profile name}\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
