Noticed the 2600 series supports 802.1q frame encapsulation on the 10mb interfaces now. This means it will turnk with 802.1q? &nbsp;Can it trunk with ISL?<br />

Also, I assume any switches I want to trunk have to run &nbsp;802.1q too?

Noticed the 2600 series supports 802.1q frame encapsulation on the 10mb interfaces now. This means it will turnk with 802.1q?  Can it trunk with ISL?

802.1q

A router is a networking device that forwards data packets between computer networks. Routers perform the "traffic directing" functions on the Internet.
