Ways to encrypt CONTACT info in Outlook 2002

I would like to secure some or all contact info in Outlook 2002 that I would not want exposed...i.e. bank account #'s CC#'s DL #'s etc. I synch with IPAQ and would obviously like to include the protection/encryption on the handheld device also.
THis need is not military level, but more prophylactic. I have found various threads in EE related to password protect the .pst file or to encrypt the entire .pst file (if I have to I will, but remembering to encrypt/decrypt etc. is less than elegant)

Any Ideas/products suggestions? THanks
