Disappearing appointments in Public calendar

I have an office with a mixed enviroment of Outlook clients. Only 2 pc's are
running Outlook 2003. Occasionally, appointments entered into a Public
calendar on the server disappear. The client has missed court dates due to this. Ouch.

It seems that the missing appointments are always initially inputted by the
Outlook 2003 clients.

Server is SBS 2000 w/ sp4

Any ideas?

Items disappear from public folders on Exchange server
There are 2 possible causes for this

1) Check the public folder store properties under Limits if you have any age limits set for the folder

2) You didn't exclude the Exchange M: drive in file system antivirus scanning and backup. This can cause damage to the Exchange databases.

After this is properly configured check your Exchange database integrity with ESEUTIL and ISINTEG
