I have never developed for vip's before and whilst I have the majority of accessibility issues covered (tab index for buttons, short cut keys for buttons, description text that can be read) I don't know the best way to handle the scrolling text areas. All I need is a text area that can be scrolled using the arrow keys, can be read by text readers and the point size be changed. Are there componants around that will help me with this?

here is a link to something that you might find of interest.

http://www.actionscripts.org/tutorials/intermediate/Control_of_Text_Size/index.shtml

http://actionscript-toolbox.com/sampletextscroller.php

on the second link if you change the single click one the on(release) to on (keyPress "<Up>") and for down on (keyPress "<Down>")  That will do the scrolling with the arrows but the changing of the text size is a little harder and the  first link does a good job at explaining that.
