Dear Experts,
I m using Outlook2000 as the mail client. Now when i send mails, i get my display name amended to my address, for e.g, "My_Name [My_Name@My_Domain.com]", when the reciepient view my mail. What if i want the reciepient to only view the address and not my name information.

Hmm not exactly sure what you mean
Do you want the recipient to see your full email address and NOT your name ?

What kind of account have you set POP3 or IMAP or Exchange server.

Have you tried this
In this http://support.earthlink.net/mu/1/psc/img/walkthroughs/windows_9x_nt/email/outlook_2000/8414.psc.html
look at #7

There under Name " Remove all that is shown" and leave it blank.

The recipeint wont see your name

Is that what you need ?

Well its a exchange account,  and what i want is instead of
My_Name [My_Name@My_Domain.com]
appearing in the "from feild", only
My_Name@My_Domain.com
should appear

You can take at it as it is obviously different in Exchange server than what i have told for POP3 or IMAP

It should be done in the Exchange server

Sir,  this link specifies how to change the display name, may be you havent undestood my querry. what i want is, when i sent a mail from outlook, it goes to the reciepient, and the reciepient should not be able to know my display name, i.e only my e-mail address should be specified in the "from feild" when he is vieing my mail in his mal editor.
