Problem with Tab Sequence on Datawindow

I have a window with a datawindow control on it.
The window has three tabs, the ok button, then the datawindow, then the cancel button (10, 20, 30)
The datawindow has two fields with 0 and then 6 fields you can tab to (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60)

The problem is, when you tab through it starts on ok, goes to the datawindow and tabs from 10 through 60 and then goes back to 10 and clears out all of the fields on the datawindow, including those that are not marked as tabs.  If you tab through everything a second time it works like I would expect, through the datawindow and then to the cancel button.

Why would it try to go through the datawindow twice, why does it wipe out all the data in the datawindow and how can I fix this???

Thanks for any help!

hi  Chipmunk77,

as i understand ur post i feel there's a slight oversight on ur part....

what i want to point out is that ur datawindow possibly has 2 blank rows and ur not able to notice that...

put a vertical scrollbar on ur datawindow and u will notice the second row...

so the second time its not wiping out all ur fields but going thru ur second row that is blank....

Check the same and let me know ...
if its otherwise i'd help again...

Cheers,
Rosh

Thank you!  It was retrieving a row and then a dw_1.insertrow(0) had been coded, so it was retrieving two rows.  I removed the dw_1.insertrow(0) and it works beautifully!

Thanks for the quick response!
