How to get the codebaseUrl from server?

I have an Internet application developed using jsp.In one of the Jsp I will
download one activeX control and run int the client machine.I am writting the activex code
written in VC++ and in there I want the BaseUrl of the server. how to get it?

If you use managed code, call Dns::GetHostName();
If you use unmanaged code, call gethostname(name, namelen);

What I am asking is the URL of the server from which the Activex component gets downloaded.
