closing frame while redirecting to the index page

my whole site is consist with in frames accept da index page how could i get out of the frames back to index upon that frame page when i log off

If you are calling your logout page from <a href> then use
<a href="your href" target="_top">

If you are calling logout page using form then use:
<form .... target="_top" >
