HP 4050tn printer continues to jam even after new maintenance kit!

We have an HP LaserJet 4050TN printer that continuously jams (13.1 & 13.6 errors).
It grabs the paper and starts to guide it through. . . then it jams as soon as the page reaches the NEW transfer roller.
A maintenance kit and new toner cartridge were installed, but it still keeps jamming.

If we put a piece of paper through the manual feeder, it will allow the 1st page to feed all the way through.  But the second page jams.

We've taken it apart as much as we know to.
Any suggestion or idea what to ckeck why it keeps jamming?

make sure the transfer roller is fixed properly on bioth sides, there shuld be a certain amount of spring on each side...

also check the paper pickup rollers and swepa them about..

barring this i think you might have a problem with the registration assembly..

check this out an let me know...

it sounds like the registration sensors are playing up - I don't have access to my service manual at present but will look it up in the next day or so.
