You must use an ASX file, which is exactly a playlist file for Windows Media Player.

You can find a sample here:
http://www.w3schools.com/media/media_windowsformats.asp
Simply substitute the filenames and repeat the
..
block as many times as needed.

Good luck.

hi Chipple

Thanks.

Its working fine. but i found a small problem in that. while i run a single WMA file streaming from my site then its fast. but while i run the same with the ASX file, its streaming very less speed... in between time its stops and download the file and takes more time. is there is any way to solve this problem.

and

each time its start buffering starts from 1%.... even its stop any time

Linking directly to the WMA probably downloads the whole video and saves it to the local drive before playing it, which avoids buffering issues.

If you use a playlist file (ASX or other) the video will be buffered and streamed from the server. If the connection or server is too slow the streaming will pause. The usual solution is to provide lower bandwidth video, or for the user to adjust buffering settings in their player (as described below).

To change the buffer settings on WMP: Under the VIEW tab, click on OPTIONS. Under the options menu, select the ADVANCED tab, and click on the CHANGE button. At the top of the new window, you should see a section called "buffer." Change the buffer setting from 'use default buffering' to 'buffer', and change the number to a higher value (e.g. 15 seconds).
