We currently use exchange 2k with end users on outlook 2k.

Is there any way of using the out of office reply for external emails only?

Thanks in advance

Create a rule to do it:

On the Tools menu, click Out of Office Assistant.
In the Out of Office Assistant dialog box, click Add Rule.
In the When a message arrives that meets the following conditions box, specify the conditions that you want the message to meet.
Click to select the Do not process subsequent rules check box to specify that this rule must be the last one applied.
To specify more conditions, click Advanced, select the options that you want, and then click OK.
In the Perform these actions box, select the options that you want.

Hi Will'

Sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday. I have found that on the advanced tab there is an option to select items that do not match these conditions. This effectively reverses a rule to only reply internal emails.

Thanks for your help.
