Groupwise 6 unable to login - user name not found
I have a Netware small business suite server version 6 running groupwise 6. 8 users which have been previously created can login and use groupwise with no problem - every additional user created is unable to login to the groupwise and an error comes up saying user not found. I have checked all of the settings in the clients against the ones that work and all appear to be setup excactly the same. The newly created user is able to are able to login to the server with no problems accessing all of the same areas as the other users.

BTW, you may have noted that GroupWise does not have its own TA under the E-Mail heading. If you'd like to help change this, then a nice (free) message in the New Topics request area would be helpful. https://www.experts-exchange.com/Community_Support/New_Topics/

Great. Sorry I wasn't able to lay it out for you - its a modestly complex procedure and I was literally running out the door.
I suspect that they were created using a tool that did not have the GroupWise Snap-Ins. For example, the version of ConsoleOne that runs from the server's XWindows screen does not have that support. Similarly, NWADMIN and its bretheren (e.g. NETADMIN, NWADMN95, NWADMN32) do not support the GroupWise v6 environment and should not be used for administration in the situation you describe.
You can verify that this is the problem by looking in the GroupWise Address Book (the System Address Book, not an individual account's Address Book). If the new accounts that were created do not appear in there, then what happened is that the tool used to create the accounts did not have GroupWise support (or it was misconfigured) and so their mailboxes were not created.
If the users DO appear in the System Address Book, then there is a problem, probably with the Domain database (the GroupWise Domain database, completely separate and distinct from an NT Domain database).
